The brief
Lingora is my own project: a distraction-free place to study French, Italian and German, with lessons organised by topic and quizzes that check what stuck.
What I built
I built it without frameworks to prove a modern learning experience doesn't need a heavy stack. PHP handles routing, sessions and progress; course and quiz content comes from the database, so adding a lesson or a whole language never touches the front end.
The interface is mobile-first and deliberately quiet, so learners focus on the material, not the UI.
